We’re a little excited about fairies over here at Janey’s Room. Fairy houses, fairy wings, the Tooth Fairy, you name it. It was only natural to have a fairy-themed birthday party for Janey’s big sister. Using a tutorial for Flower Friends, available on the Family Fun website, we made a bunch of fairies to give as party favors. These fairies are super easy & fun for a 6 year old to help make.

The tutorial is great. Each fairy takes about 15 minutes to make. We made 10 fairies from 4 artificial roses from AC Moore. The only adjustments we made were to add an extra bead under the flower to give the skirt some extra volume and to hot glue gun some flower leaves onto the dresses. This is a very fun craft project for all you fairy lovers!
